The Bread Of Life Global Ministries
Home / About Us
The Bread of Life Global Ministries is a Christ-centered, Bible-based, evangelistic, discipleship, teaching, and humanitarian ministry founded by Peter Lengwe.
The ministry exists to proclaim Jesus Christ to the nations, make disciples, strengthen the Church, defend the truth of Scripture, restore dignity to the vulnerable, and demonstrate the compassion of Christ through practical service.
Its name is drawn from the declaration of Jesus:
“I am the bread of life.”
—John 6:35, NKJV
The Bread of Life Global Ministries believes that humanity’s deepest need cannot be satisfied by material provision alone. People need Jesus Christ. They need the forgiveness found in His cross, the life revealed in His resurrection, the truth of His Word, the transforming power of the Holy Spirit, and the hope of His kingdom.
At the same time, the ministry recognizes that proclaiming the Bread of Life must be accompanied by compassion for those who lack daily bread, safety, education, dignity, opportunity, and spiritual care.
The ministry therefore seeks to unite faithful gospel proclamation with practical expressions of Christ’s love.
Jesus Christ is the foundation, center, message, authority, and hope of The Bread of Life Global Ministries. The ministry is not built around a human personality, cultural movement, political ideology, or pursuit of institutional recognition.
It belongs to Christ.
“For no other foundation can anyone lay than that which is laid, which is Jesus Christ.”
—1 Corinthians 3:11, NKJV
The mission of The Bread of Life Global Ministries is to proclaim the gospel of Jesus Christ, make biblically grounded disciples, equip faithful leaders, plant and strengthen Christ-centered ministries, and serve vulnerable communities with compassion, dignity, wisdom, and integrity.
We seek to carry the whole gospel to the whole person.
This includes:
Our vision is to see Jesus Christ known, trusted, worshiped, and obeyed among the nations.
We envision communities where:
Our desire is not merely to establish projects. It is to establish a lasting gospel witness.
The Bread of Life Global Ministries is guided by the Great Commission:
“Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations.”
—Matthew 28:19, NKJV
We understand this commission to include:
Going
We must cross geographic, cultural, social, economic, and religious boundaries to make Jesus known.
Proclaiming
The gospel must be communicated clearly, faithfully, courageously, and respectfully.
Baptizing
Those who repent and believe are called to identify publicly with Jesus Christ and His people.
Teaching
Disciples must be taught to observe everything Jesus commanded—not merely to collect religious information.
Remaining Dependent
Jesus promised His presence, and the Holy Spirit provides power for witness.
Reaching the Nations
The gospel is for every tribe, language, people, and nation.
Providing biblical teaching that strengthens faith and spiritual maturity.
Jesus is before all things, above all things, and worthy of all things.
Every ministry activity must point beyond Bread of Life Global Ministries to Christ Himself.
We do not want people to become dependent upon a ministry founder, leader, organization, or donor. We want them to know, trust, obey, and depend upon Jesus.
The Bible is the authoritative written Word of God and the foundation for doctrine, discipleship, ministry, leadership, correction, and mission.
Personal experiences, dreams, visions, cultural traditions, and leadership claims must be tested by Scripture.
No human voice stands above God’s Word.
Humanity’s greatest problem is sin and separation from God. Its greatest need is reconciliation through Jesus Christ.
Education, food, vocational training, and social development are important, but they cannot replace the gospel.
The ministry serves practical needs while keeping the death, resurrection, lordship, and saving invitation of Jesus at the center.
Prayer is not a ceremonial addition to ministry. It is an expression of dependence upon God.
The Bread of Life Global Ministries seeks to pray before planning, during service, throughout hardship, and after every visible result.
We acknowledge that strategies cannot produce spiritual life. Only God gives the increase.
The ministry does not seek merely to count responses. Jesus commanded His followers to make disciples.
A disciple must learn to:
Evangelism must lead into patient, accountable, lifelong discipleship.
Spiritual authority is stewardship, not ownership.
Leaders are called to serve, protect, teach, equip, and model Christlike character.
People in poverty are not projects, images, or statistics. They are persons created in God’s image.
The ministry seeks to serve without humiliation, exploitation, manipulation, or dependency-producing practices.
Compassion should protect dignity, listen to local communities, strengthen local leadership, build sustainable capacity, safeguard children and vulnerable adults, demonstrate accountability, avoid using aid as pressure for conversion, and point toward the love of Christ.
No single ministry can fulfill the Great Commission alone.
The Bread of Life Global Ministries welcomes prayerful cooperation with biblically faithful churches, pastors, missionaries, evangelists, teachers, intercessors, ministry organizations, Christian businesses, volunteers, donors, skilled professionals, and community leaders.
The ministry seeks to practice transparency, responsible stewardship, lawful operation, safeguarding, accurate reporting, and financial accountability.
Resources entrusted to the ministry are sacred responsibilities.
Donations must serve the purposes for which they are given. Testimonies must be communicated truthfully. People must not be misrepresented. Results must not be exaggerated.
Sustainable ministry grows when local believers are trained, trusted, equipped, and held accountable.
The ministry seeks to identify faithful local leaders, provide biblical and practical training, develop ministry systems, strengthen local ownership, encourage cultural understanding, establish accountability, and equip communities to multiply the work.
The Bread of Life Global Ministries exists to proclaim Jesus among people who do not yet know Him.
The ministry seeks opportunities to share the gospel through personal evangelism, village missions, church gatherings, community outreach, Bible distribution, digital communication, books and teaching materials, open-air proclamation where lawful and appropriate, small-group discipleship, cross-cultural witness, prayer for the sick and suffering, and compassionate community service.
New believers need more than an initial gospel encounter. They need roots.
The ministry seeks to provide biblically grounded teaching on Jesus Christ, the gospel, prayer, faith, grace, repentance, holiness, obedience, the Holy Spirit, Christian character, marriage and family, the Church, spiritual discernment, servant leadership, evangelism, mission, perseverance, and Christ’s return and kingdom.
Healthy ministries require healthy leaders.
The ministry seeks to train leaders who are rooted in Scripture, centered upon Christ, filled with the Spirit, humble, teachable, accountable, morally faithful, compassionate, courageous, skilled in serving others, and committed to making disciples.
The ministry seeks to stand with persecuted believers through prayer, encouragement, biblical teaching, discipleship, practical assistance, food support, leadership development, safe fellowship, responsible advocacy, sustainable livelihood initiatives, and care for women, children, and families.
The ministry seeks to support women and girls who face poverty, abuse, exploitation, forced labor, limited education, and religious persecution.
This commitment includes the vision of the Daughters of Hope Girls Training Center.
The ministry desires to support vulnerable children with safety, food, education, spiritual nurture, loving care, protection from exploitation, family and community support, and opportunities for a hopeful future.
The ministry seeks to provide food and essential assistance to families and communities facing poverty, persecution, crisis, and displacement.
Food distributions should be conducted fairly, safely, transparently, without discrimination, without humiliating recipients, and without making aid conditional upon conversion.
The long-term vision includes Christ-centered community projects designed to combine spiritual formation with practical sustainability.
The Bread of Life Global Village—Goshen Project reflects this vision.
Through books, devotionals, ministry manuals, prayer resources, messages, curricula, digital teaching, and translated materials, the ministry seeks to bring biblical truth to readers around the world.
Possible elements include:
he program seeks to combine:
The goal is not merely to rescue women from danger. It is to help them understand their God-given worth, discover their abilities, grow in Christ, and become women who strengthen families, churches, and communities.
The ministry desires to support vulnerable children with:
Where residential care is considered, the ministry seeks wise safeguarding, lawful oversight, accountable leadership, and the best interests of every child.
The Bread of Life Global Ministries believes that every nation needs Jesus.
The ministry’s concern extends toward:
We approach people with respect, but we do not hide the gospel.
We honor freedom of conscience, but we proclaim Jesus as the only Savior.
We seek understanding across cultures, but we do not reduce Christ to one teacher among many.
We serve practical needs, but we remember that eternal life is found only in Him.
There is one God.
Humanity has sinned.
No religion, moral achievement, ancestry, philosophy, ritual, or spiritual practice can remove guilt and reconcile the human heart to God.
The eternal Son of God became human in Jesus Christ.
He lived without sin.
He died for our sins.
He was buried.
He bodily rose from the dead.
He ascended into heaven.
He reigns as Lord.
He offers forgiveness and eternal life to all who repent and believe.
He will return to judge the world, defeat every enemy, raise the dead, and renew creation.
This is the message Bread of Life Global Ministries exists to carry.
Christian Author • Bible Teacher • Founder
Peter Lengwe founded The Bread of Life Global Ministries out of a deep love for God’s Word and a burden to see lives transformed through the truth and power of Jesus Christ.
Through writing, teaching, discipleship, and ministry development, his desire is to help people encounter Christ, grow in biblical understanding, and walk faithfully with the Lord.
His vision extends beyond books into kingdom initiatives that care for the vulnerable, strengthen communities, empower women, and create lasting impact for the glory of God.
We invite you to explore our books, learn about our ministry projects, pray with us, and become part of what God is doing through this ministry.
Together, we seek to reveal Jesus Christ to a hungry world.
The Bread of Life Global Ministries seeks to honor every partner through:
No gift is insignificant when surrendered to God.
A prayer may strengthen a persecuted believer.
A Bible may disciple a new Christian.
A sewing machine may provide a young woman with a dignified livelihood.
A food package may sustain a vulnerable family.
A scholarship may open the door to education.
A translated book may carry biblical truth into another language.
A mission gift may help the gospel reach an unreached community.
A faithful partnership may influence generations.
The ultimate goal of The Bread of Life Global Ministries is not the expansion of an organization.
It is the exaltation of Jesus Christ.
We desire to see:
Everything begins with Jesus.
Everything depends upon Jesus.
Everything must point toward Jesus.
Everything must end in worship of Jesus.
Jesus Christ is the Bread of Life.
He is the Savior of the world.
He is the Head of the Church.
He is the hope of the nations.
He is the defender of the vulnerable.
He is the King who reigns.
The Bread of Life Global Ministries will proclaim His gospel, teach His Word, serve His people, reach the lost, strengthen the persecuted, restore dignity, and pursue the Great Commission until He returns.
To Jesus Christ alone belong all glory, honor, dominion, worship, and praise—now and forever.
Amen.
The Great Commission requires the participation of the whole body of Christ.
Some are called to go.
Some are called to pray.
Some are called to give.
Some are called to teach.
Some are called to build.
Some are called to provide professional skills.
Some are called to open doors.
Some are called to encourage the persecuted.
Some are called to support women and children.
Some are called to translate and distribute biblical resources.
Every faithful contribution can become part of God’s work among the nations.
The Bread of Life Global Ministries invites individuals, churches, organizations, and Christian partners to stand with this mission through:
Partnership is not merely giving to an organization.
It is joining in a Christ-centered mission to proclaim the gospel, make disciples, restore dignity, strengthen communities, and carry the Bread of Life to a spiritually and physically hungry world.
